Smart UHF RF Meter
A battery-less Smart UHF RF Meter for determining the RF field generated by RFID readers operating around the UHF Band 868MHz. The meter can be used in two ways. On its own to check if UHF 868MHz Antennas are active by LED where close field strength is indicated by brightness and used with an Android NFC enabled mobile device to gauge the field strength as seen by an RFID tag at distance from the antenna. The mobile display shows the strength in micro-Watts and Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) and a handy graph to plot how the field strength changes as the unit is moved around simulating an RFID tags movements.
