All Rail Specific
Cnection’s rail specific solutions are based around RFID (Radio Frequency Identication) tags which are smart electronic versions of barcodes. RFID tags are currently being fitted to all new rail vehicles and retro fitted to existing rolling stock. The hard tags are fitted to the side of vehicles to be detected by a fixed integrated reader with automatic detection on the side of the railway line they can be programmed and read by a handheld reader. Applications include asset location tracking, process control and condition monitoring. TrakStar™ MQ is our fixed reader solution and TagStar™ Pro a handheld for programming and reading tags. Cnection can provide and design a whole solution including suppling the tags, handheld programmer/reader, fixed reader and integrating the data to your back end system.
TrakStar™ MQ
